i would like to start my on server but im not sure on how to do this . ive been playing sof2 for years now and decided that having my own server might make things more interesting  (not that this game isnt adictive enought) could someone help me with getting started changing wepons maps and checking on the people that are one my server (cheaters and ect.) thank u and good day email me @pure_clutch_fury@yahoo if u like.

Normally i would suggest to get sof2runner, but i hear that there are problems with the downloads on that site, so that doesnt help either.

Running a server isnt so hard, but you need to basic knowledge of the sof2 server commands (plus a good config, a good mapcycle and a batchfile to start the server) and you need to know to operate your router/firewall if you have one.

I was actually talking to joesublime. I was just wondering if he/she wanted to set up a windows or linux server. There was no specification.

ok i got a runner and filed out the info now how do i get it to run do i have to purechase a server?
