Please Raven.. tell us when we can expect a patch for Q4.. with autodownloading / sound bugs (whole rewrite of the sound system or copy past from q3 / q2 or any other 10 year old game with a beter sound system) and all other problems there are with Q4 ? For me.. and I think a lot of other people it is taking way to long and the silence is killing... please tell us when when... please I beg u... please.. please.. please Thank you,

The silence has already killed... The good news is Quake4 boosted the number of people playing Quake3. Good job Raven!

hmmm that was not the answer I was hoping for but hey.. I will stick to World of Warcraft for the moment.. It's a shame we can't all bring our game back to the shop and show them this is unaceptable. (This is the last time I bought an Raven software game)

From what I loosely understand the patch is fully baked and ready to serve...but that there is some thing out side of Raven thats holding it up for what ever reasons. From the sounds of it, its been sitting for a while..but for how long I haven't a clue.

Perhaps Id mongul Carmack is too busy driving his $500K sports cars to wave the magic wand of patch approval? Same issue plagues the Xbox 360 version too?

Too many layers of "corporate"...

Arh well i`v given up on waiting for this to get fixed... Time to move on me thinks... Def going to trade quake 4 for a game that gets better support...

Just came to check the status of the patch since I really do like Q4. Sadly, they have basically KILLED Q4 MP at this point. Our clan leader wrote the great Q4X mod only to see the server mostly empty because players can't join without the pain of downloading a file manually. Sure looks like all Raven/ID cared about was console revenue. I guess they didn't take time to see the thousands of people playing Q3 MP. Let me tell them....THOSE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS!
