I took our HP OfficeJet 7110 to Best Buy's "Geek Squad" because the fax functionality always said 'phone off hook'.  $25 just to look at it, and they tell me "It's fine, must be your phone line."  

Well it must be my Mom's phone line too, because it doesn't work here in IL either.  Bastards.

I have had 0 problems with Best Buy.  Good place to buy cheap games.

I dont buy cds so no problem there.

best buy ate my children.

Oh yeah, I remember another thing.

When McDonalds has those Best Buy Bucks thing, our local Best Buy decided they were above the official rules, and wouldn't let people use more than $3 on Video Games in their store, when the official rules clearly state otherwise.

So, I ordered online, used my like $20ish in Best Buy Bucks on a game via online, and selected the "pick up in store" option.  Went through without a hitch.

Owned.

I dont have any problem with BestBuy except for this one:

We don't need one where we are, and to get one they had to take our cute little independant theatre down  

Oh great, so now we're minus a cool cheaper threatre, and added with a copy of Future Shop - which by the way is ACROSS THE STREET from Best Buy >.<  this was so not necessary.

That would be like Walmart and KMart being across the street for you guys.  Actually we used to have Kmart years ago.... Thats gone from Canada though.

Yes that happens all the time. Tis corporate competitiveness. Why do you think KFC and Mcdonalds are close all the time?

Not here. In fact around here its hard to find a KFC unless you go to a mall. And the really strange thing is that McDonalds is almost never part of the footcourt, its usually on its own. With huge lineups as a result.  

In the major shoping centre near were i live there is 2 places like best buy. Kmart, Target, Myer.

And the other centre around the corner from my house has 2 supermarkets and they are both safeway supermarkets, they are litreally within a 100metre walk from each other
