It is not that the game is unplayable in singleplayer- it is playable. It is just that if a patch will allow higher settings for me... or just better playability, I will wait; particularly since there are definitive multiplayer issues. I also think I have every right to feel ripped since I spent big bucks months ago and many issues remain unsolved. Activision is building a bad track record on fixing issues.... Quake 4 and COD 2.

I've played Morrowind for about a year and got quite frankly addicted. I can name more glitches off the top of my head than I can count on my fingers, most of which actually crash the game, and yet I'm still addicted. Dealing with the glitches tends to be part of the fun. Tell me that they planned the double jump in Quake2! (BTW what's with no rocket jumps or ramp jumps in SP?)

Probably most people who bought Quake4 for its supposed focus on the Singleplayer game...

Honestly you can go straight back to Quake3 Multiplayer Since Quake4 Multiplayer is nothing more than that...

Singleplayer was a major let down complete disregard for established fluff, major features completly removed or changed into completly unrecognisable shapes, poorly done manual, lack of decent music or lack of music in general...

Personally I blame ID Software since they pulled same crap on Doom3...

The only thing wrong with SP (in my eyes) is the lack of AI. I find this is the thing that gets me the most. It is like almost no challenge with most of the AI in games now a days. All they do is run at you in straight lines and all you have to do is just hold down the fire. When I played F.E.A.R, that had to be one of the best AI's yet. Other then that, I found the SP to be just as good as any of the other average to good SP games. But hey, the SP takes like a week to beat and now I haven't seen it since.
