I got an error in the compile window:
Quote:

MAX_MAP_LIGHTING <16 MB> exceeded... more than 21 lightmaps used

I think the error is pretty self-explanatory, but how do I go about reducing the lighting in my map? Here's my worldspawn settings
Quote:

"classname" "worldspawn"
"_color" ".9 .9 .8"
"suncolor" "1 .73 .42"
"sundiffusecolor" ".75 .84 1"
"sundirection" "-45 360 0"
"northyaw" "180"
"spawnflags" "0"
"ambient " ".7"
"sunlight" ".5"

Based on the ambient and sunlight values, I don't see why I'm getting this error. Any suggestions? [angryalien]

i don't know maybe you should try compiling on a better pc, or check if the inner circle of the lights touch each other.
because that gives errors if the inner circles of the lights touch each other

hmm.. I did have some lights with inner circles overlapping. I fixed those, but I still get the error. I don't think my computer is the problem either. Thanks for the response though, I'll keep searching for an answer.

the inner radius of any 2 lights cannot touch nor overlap ... make sure that you check all 3 dimensions of every possible combination

ALSO ensure that no individual inner radius touches or goes through your skybox

these are the 2 most common reasons for lighting errors - right next in line with a leak...

load pointfile in your map in radiant and check for a leak that way [angryalien]
