I have not had a problem with my nokia. It is almost 2 years old now, it has been dropped countless times and thrown across a room once (dont ask) and it works fine still

I beat the #### out of a motorola flip phone once. it didn't exactly bleed.
I threw it down on concrete and it shattered into about a hundred peices.
(what can I say? its was a very frustrating phone to own. it almost never worked)

then I picked up all the parts and sort of half-assed-assembled it back into its own case..
to the point where there weren't even any wires or anything sticking out of it.   it almost looked... intact.   sorta.
(in a 'Homer Simpson' kind of way)

then I took it back where I got it and said
Quote:
 "....something happened to it" :p

(they laughed.  "...that 'happens' a lot with these ones" :p then they traded me up to a better phone)

That is like what happend to my bank card, well the last part anyway.
I was shredding some old mail as i have been away from home and all mail has been coming to my house, and i assummed my mum had sorted through it.
There was a bank envolope in the pile, i put it in the shredder and it got stuck, and i did not think much of it so i took it out and tried the other end, needless to say that end got stuck as well. So I decided to open it and found my new bank card inside, half shredded.

The next day i went to the bank and told them my card had had an accident.
They just laughed at me
