I'm a bit stumped here for what to get some of the relatives for Christmas. So what are some good games that have come out lately that are worth buying for people. Genre doesn't matter either, nor does game rating but PC only.

Guildwars is nice if somebody wants to get into MMORPGs but doesn't want the subscription fee. Far Cry is great and probably pretty cheap nowadays as well. I got Ultimate Spider-man recently and really like it.
