Anyone been banned for no reason from the VOD clan servers?
About a year ago I got kicked because the admin caught po'd about me killing him over and over again. He kicked me from the game and then got me banned with PB Bans. Problem? He  is also part of PB Bans. PunkBuster did not ban me-they have me clean. But because I am on a global ban from VOD, I can't play on most servers. Any help out there? Oh, check my scores. I am not a hacker or a cheater. I just do know how to play the game.

How can a clan do a global ban??

Wanderer, You are not global banned and you were not banned for no reason and not kicked for killing people over & over again. The reason that you are on the pbbans banlist is for cheating, The several pbss we have of you proove that as you already know. People complained about how you were able to kill people from a great distance on maps that contain fog. The pbss show you over several fog maps show you to have had no fog. Nobody on pbbans is banned without proof. So wanderer do you want to tell some more porkies. You can try and give people and sites a bad name but when you are in the wrong you will not succeed.

Yeah, look close at those screen shots. They are perfectly normal. There is no hack or PunkBusters would have caught it. All I did was sit at the edge of the fog and increase the magnification on the scope on the sniper rifle. Funny how it was just the one clan site that had problems.

And do please tell me how I would get rid of the fog. And why would PunkBusters say it was with a Global Ban and that they did not do it? Maybe there are certain members of PB Bans that are abusing their power?

link us to the specific screenshots on pbbans please... i wanna see it. One way to remove the fog is having a certain pk3 file...PB cannot detect that. Another way may be a bad install. But if you played a lot you should be aware that there should be fog. So link us to the screenshots

Nevermind, found those PBSSes. It's exactly like mentioned before. Fog removal, and those PBSSes show that. It gives an unfair advantage over other players, so indeed it's bannable.

No the ss are not perfectly normal. I & many other server admins have seen 1000's of pbss to know what's normal and what isn't if they were we wouldn't be having this dispute. Not all hacks are detected by pb or any other means. Your right in 1 of the ss you were sat on the edge of the map but A: Fog is set in the worldspawn of a map you cant "sit on the edge of it" lol, B: You still have no fog on a map that contained fog. For your information Pbbans isn't a clan site it's an anti-cheat site setup for server admins to keep hackers off their server and to support  games with pb on them. You were just stupid enough to get caught on the server that was ran by the same people that setup pbbans.

Yeah i would tell you how to get rid of the fog but you already know that. If infact you were getting kicked with the message GLOBAL GUID BAN then that's nothing to do with pbbans, punksbusted or any other anti-cheat site. Global guid bans are issued directly from evenbalance and nobody else period take it up with them. Nobody except for evenbalance can issue GLOBAL GUID bans so no nobody is abusing their powers.

There has been no changes to the game since it has been loaded. I know, I've played. Why I was banned a year from when the guy kicked me from the site, I have no idea. I do know that I am the one that was playing and I know how I was playing. I know for a fact I did nothing to the game.
I don't give a #### what he says. I know I didn't hack.
Common since would indicate that if I had the knowledge to do that, my scores would have been a lot better-instead of at the bottom.  I will say if I had the skill, I would find some way to have the whole VOD dude that kicked me banned.

On a serious note, who are Punkbusters? Be more specific, Punkbuster is software created by Evenbalance.
Punksbusted (which i presume you mean) is a seperate anticheat site, like PBBans that supports the EB software.

Upon looking at your PBSS's on PBBans it is indeed a fact that they are missing fog! Removal of fog is classified as cheating, there are several ways to fix this.

• It could be a driver issue (update drivers)
  
• Remove the *.pk3 file from your /base/mp/ folder
  
• Unplug computer and throw it away
  

Just face the fact that you got caught, your appeal is almost certain gonna get rejected!

Whether you believe it or not, I did not do anything other then play the game. If the map was suppose to have fog in it (more so then what was on my game) I do not know what happened. I did not remove anything from the game. I did not do any kind of hack (obviously you should be able to tell my these writings I am not extremely computer literate). And I did not change any settings. I just logged onto the game and played. I would set up a distance away, increase the magnification on the sniper scope and shoot.  And I have talked to the guys at Even Balance. They did say the DID NOT do the kick. It was from one of the clan Admin's.  This was posted here so long after the fact because the banning just started a couple of weeks ago. Why not before then, I do not know.
