I bought a (faulty?) 6600GT for my son's comuter and I couldn't even install drivers for it. card locked up @windows splash screen. these new drivers seem to work, I can install them and get the card running. cool deal. I even tested it in 3Dmark03 and the card ran the test with no problems. woot! hooray for New Drivers! unfortunately I can;t start Tribes2 because the game "UE's" at the launch window. D'oh! (card is back on the shelf until I figure out WTF to do with it sigh any card that can't launch T2 is not worth installing looks like I'm going to have to get an RMA number from ASUS) ^^ (like that'll do me any good. they'll probably tell me its supposed to work that way I'm kinda hoping it turns out to be bad DDR because then at least I'd have an explanation. and a new card )

I'm almost starting to regret getting my X700 Pro... I like it, but Nvidia looks to be the wave of the future.
