I now know what is really being worked on instead of fixing multiplayer: Per Electronic Gaming Monthly, December 05 issue... "Quake 4 (for xbox) comes packed with one impressive bonus feature: a full version of first-person-shooting classic Quake 2, redone and fully optimized for the Xbox 360." There you have it, we get the same old Quake 2 (old Quake 2 engine) while the xbox gets an updated graphically impressive version of Quake 2. Yep, for our $60 we got a beta multiplayer and the old Quake 2 shoved in the box. Gates gets a Co-op Quake 2 with updated graphics. Well, at least we know everybody is being kept busy (but it ain't for the PC folks). Make your blood boil?

WTF? thier makeing a ture DVD edition for the 360? I wonder if it has the quake 2 music....

No. Every xbox 360 game gets quake 4 (w/ mulitplayer) and a complete updated Quake 2 game... high end graphics and all. We got scr*wed big time... I mean big time. I say that, having been a huge Raven's fan for years. .................................. I bought the collectors dvd Quake 4 and I feel like I was robbed of $60.

You never know... might get ported eventually... Like blue shift was for half-life.

Yeh, well... all I did was take in good faith to get, at least, the same value as Gates' folks are getting. Instead I got... well, I got.... (never mind, I want to be civil.)

That doesn't mean that Q2 will be graphically updated. They are including just a port, like the classic Doom included in Doom 3 for Xbox.
