hi all ok i installed quake and played it. the problem is all i see in green . like nightvision i can see the character bad guys and everything. but its all night vision green . i thought the first level was like that but its all of them . my pc specs are 2.8 GHZ PENTIUM 4 Hypher threading tech. 512 mb of ram 100 gb of space sony vaio brand name graphics card = radeon 9200 se atlantis it could be a driver problem but i dont know where to get the drivers.. so please help me.apreciated

try setting up r_mode to 3 in console(ctrl+alt+tilde)

Could try changing r_renderer to "arb" too, worked for someone else. Neil.

im not sure . on gamespot it said 64 mb graphics card would work.. so yea.. im not really sure .

its not in the recomended list, which means they aint really tested it on ur card so.. bound to be a #### up on old g-cards

Answer It's what Neill says in this thread too. To fix this on the main menu go into console (press CTRL+ALT+~) and type: r_renderer "arb"
