Does it really matter? Everyone likes different styles of play.  I myself like Q4 and find it to be a different style of play compared to D3. Both are equally fun.  Similarities.. who cares. Every FPS in existance has a list of similarities.  So that arguement is pretty moot.

Usually, they don't have so many similarities. They copied everything - the menu even, incoming transmission, the areas, the interactive panels, red-green lights on doors. Gameplay? I didn't notice much change. Same shotgun, same machine gun.

personally, I would prefer if Raven continues the Jedi Kight and SoF Series.

Elite Force 3 may not be possible since Activision stupidly gave up the chance to make (better) ST-Games, wich probably would have sold better after there is no more movie or series apperance. But they said: No new movies, now new games, because they do not sell good if the licence is not brandnew and famous. So they took the marvel licence, only because the spider-man movies were succesfull and created some #### of games (Spiderman 2 PC).
This is a marketing strategy, but not very far sighted and contra-productive. Fans and steady customers should not be dissapointed, or a firm will lack of them and go bancrupt.
Just wanted to say that.
I hope Raven will keep its fans "alive" and continue making good FPS Game-Series.

Blah.. you'll continue this argument till the cows come home. So I'd just like to see a new Heretic universe based game. Period. It may not happen but I"m just voicing my interest in a continuation.

Hexen and heretic have always been a bit off in soem aera and thier seaqules show that,they are better than todays seaqules tho....

Raven has becoem a Dev house thier tobusy ma keign games for others than to make Hexen/Heretic.....

D3/Q4 engiens have way to may thigns wrong with the to make a desent outside enviroiment.

Well it really isn't hyped that much like other quake titles, why? yeah right it was sold enough i guess but where is the backup of Raven? MP as much.
