if I recall correctly, there are no sounds for walking.

If there are sound for walking, then in the ingame config it would be included in sound effects not in music or voice levels.

Is that for a "NPC or "You". I am not sure you can specify the footstep sounds for a "NPC" or "You".

Umm... I may be just a silly gamer but... why would you care? ####, Doom 3 has THE best sound code in existance and I could care less about if I hear my own footsteps. I'm more interested in hearing that large demon growling behind me.

I dunno... If I was used to hearing footsteps in a game, I'd probably feel something was missing.
