Frankly, I cannot wait till this comes out! I have been a HUGE fan of every single quake series that has been released.. what series can you say that youve played constant hours on...except Final Fantasy :P Also have been a fan for the Raven Software games.. no im not just "saying" it cuz im here :P they make great games but man... hope this thing is just great!... wish they had a test though :P

Demo is comming late this month... I'd like to see Raven hasn´t forgotten this forum, couse, it would be usefull to talk to the team once Q4 goes gold...

I'm not all that excited, I don't mind Quake, but if it was SotSR 5, or, I suppose, 6 now, I wouldn't have gotten my eyes from the raven site and would have been the first to buy the jewel case! Anyway, is Raven planning to return to SotSR-style games? They are much more original!

I can't wait till Quake 4 get out! I reserved it on www.alapage.com (like amazon but french) the collector edition! Can't wait!

Retail establishments should be receiving the product any day now. The release date is when the public is allowed to take it home with them. The retail shops sometimes get the game a week in advance, but some just get it the day before the release date. Thus, at 1200AM on October 18th the public can take Quake 4 out of the stores. Now just 6 days away!
