Is it me, or is there any real difference between the screenshots in EF1 vs EF2?

Yes there is ...
EF2 is a far superior engine...its the same map but its cleaner although i havent added all the lower lights to the EF2 version yet.

Also the curved corridor in EF1 has had to be a model so i have to sort the lighting out where as the ef2 version is the original brushwork as Uber handles complex angles far better
