For 1 week to go to Japan.  Put away the champagne.

So yeah, I've been looking forward to this trip for over a year, and it's finally here.  I leave tomorrow around 2pm...  I'm nervous and excited.  I've never been on a trip this far outside the US (been to Mexico and some piddly islands, but that's it), and I've never been on a trip on my own before. (I mean w/ friends not family).  So it's big for those reasons, as well as the fact that I'm freakin' going to Japan!

I've been talking via email to a friend that lives over there.  I met her through a friend who is living in the US, but came from the Kobe area, where I'm going.  So I'll have someone to show me around.  Anyway, I plan on taking lots of pictures, so I'll be sure to post some when I get back.  If I can get internet access, I'll try to post, but come on, I plan on keeping busy.

Good luck man!  Have fun over there, bring back lots of cool pictures.  Oh and don't forget, maybe scope out a girl or two while you're there.  Y'know, if the mood strikes.

Last bit of advice, if your still here:

Remember, it will be 360 young ladies once in a while.  So, just like heavy lifting, oogle and stare from the knees.  That will help prevent any serious neck injuries like "chicklash".  Remember - from the knees.

Still up.  2am.  Get up in 5-6hrs, do some last minute stuff then a 13hr flight to Narita, 5hr layover including bus ride to Haneda for a 1hr domestic flight to Kansai.  1hr+ bus ride from there to Kobe.  I should've gone to sleep earlier.  I'm gonna be so wasted.  Hah.  Okay.  Thanks for the well wishing and the advice.  
I know I'm gonna be screwed.  I get weak at the knees just walking through the local Mitsuwa market around here.
