Awesome mods are coming. Here's a perfect tool for the game going by the name of Duct Tape Mod. As it stands now, you have to select either the flashlight or a weapon when feeling your way around in the dark halls of the game. That can result in some difficult times when you are stuck with a flashlight in hand instead of your trusty sidearm.

That's where this mod comes in. Duct Tape Mod will tape your flashlight to your machine gun so you can actually see what you are shooting.

That so far is the only thing I have against doom3, the flashlight as a "weapon" I can understand not having a flashlight with a rocket launcher, but the handgun is a single hand weapon, and should be able to use both at same time...

I heard people suggesting this in a forum and I said well, I know this will be coming.

The reason it's like this, well my take is that from everything I'm hearing Doom 3 is basically relying ont he darkness for it's scares and such - having the flashlight readily available doesn't exactly help for this.

Yeah, I have to admit...personally I think the weapons would be nicer if you could hold the pistols with the flashlight like PleaseMYOB suggested...that's just common sense! You could also make the shottie like, have it built in. That would make a nice weapon replacement...I don't know what pistols it has, but a LAM would be a nice addition pending the type of pistol, or whatever.

Often in games I find myself using the pistol a lot more than other weapons, at least early in the game (for example in HL2 I'll be using that HK USP PRO every damn chance I get, that's my favorite pistol in the world, only I prefer the .45 flavor).

Your not the only one that prefers a .45...
