Hello Raven Software, Although you may have gotten many requests, wanted you to know that there are hundreds of thousands or more of people wanting an SOF3 game released. There is a petition going on: Soldier of Fortune 3 Petition And it's growing by the day. and although this was just started, the SOF2 community is desperately wanting this game to happen. If you use the Quake 4 engine, it will be awsome and your best seller....People from all over the world (I'm talking single AND MULTIPLAYER) will grab this game as soon as it comes out. Whoever created SOF2 was a genius. This game is still being played in multiplayer with thousands of servers worldwide. PLEASE consider making this game, it will be a hit, I guarantee it!!! give them time, they are currently very busy with Q4 and XML2, but im sure in, time we will get another SOF or an equally brilliant game

Thank you so much for your response. The SOF2 community has been requesting the new game for a couple of years. All I know is that if the new one will be anything like SOF2, with the realism and physics the way they are, but with better graphics and features not found in sof2, that game is going to be the most popular game ever made. I don't mean to cause trouble or anything, but were SOF and SOF2 really all that popular? Obviously they have a devoted fanbase, but you rarely hear of them when people talk about really famous or landmark games.

I think SOF1 was pretty popular. I never played it though. I do have SOF2, I wouldn't call it a landmark game though. Good, but nothing groundbreaking. A new engine would do it good though, so SOF3 may well be a winner when they do it (and I'm sure they will, it's their baby)

SOF and SOF2 are both rock solid FPS games! and i think they had a very big and equaly solid fanbase

Perhaps. But seeing this thread has nothing to do with soldier of fortune 2, it shouldn't have been moved here.
