You do know that pot DOES affect your DNA, so I hope you don't plan on breeding anytime soon if at all.

Really?  I wasn't aware of that.  That's very interesting.  Is there an article or something that I could read more about that?

Pot good; laws bad.

Imagine, big government and corporations (hand in hand) want non-smoking, non-drinking and non-pot smoking people so you can be so much more productive.

Already, there are corporations that will fire you for smoking.  Next, comes being able to fire you for being over-weight.

Obviously, they will never tolerate people who blow a little boo in the evening.

Brave new World:  it's already here.

I am glad I was young when the country was free and the hemp flowed freely.

My english teacher was arguing that Canada's economy improved significantly when they legalized marijuana,

Canada never legalized marijuana.

(our economy improved signifigantly because yours declined)

One guy is like "OH MAN DAT SHIZ IS SO ILL YO, EVERYONE I KNOW SMOKES MARIJUANA MAN! I DON'T KNOW ONE PERSON THAT DOESN'T MAN!"

in a 'democracy', the guy would actually have a point.

(ie: how can a democracy brand a 'majority' of the population as criminals?
democracy is supposed to be all about serving the will of the majority)

---------------

p.s: (slightly off topic)
you ever notice, how democracy is set up to reward conformity?

I mean its pretty much guaranteed:
IF you are the resident "free thinker" on your block..
..then you will NOT get your way in a vote. (LOL)

"free thinkers", by definition, are people who establish their OWN opinions
(which are not necessarily the same as those of "the majority")
so free thinkers, more often than not, will find themselves in the "minority".  on every issue LOL.
(and their ideas are summarily quashed.  every time)

its the nature of the system :;):  the nature of 'voting', in general
^^(something to "think" about)(hehe)

The United States is not a democracy, atleast I don't go to the polls everytime a new bill is up for a vote. It's a Republic.

got any free thinkers in government? :;): (and are their voices being heard?)

free thinking < mob mentality  <-- that seems to be a natural result of the system :;):

Nope, the Republicans and the Democrats are more alike than different, just look at their voting record, ofcourse neither side will admit it. The US is the only country with two right wings. It only matters what their constituents think when it's an election year. Sure there are a few exceptions like Rep. Ron Paul R-TX (he's really a Libertarian but Texas Ballot Access laws don't allow him to run as a Libertarian) and that one Senator from Wisconsin that voted against the USAPATRIOT Act (which btw is neither Patriotoic or American), who try and rescind big government laws and try to restore liberty, but those bills don't go very far.

I myself don't really care for Mary Jane, but if someone truely wants it, let them have it. ####, legalizing it would actually cut down on the number of pot smokers, statistically speaking more are likely to try it when legalize, but less are likely to continue to smoke it. I guess it's because that "oh it's illegal let's do it" factor is absent. In this situation particulary, if it's for medical use the people are going to die soon anyway, why make them suffer if there are ways of realiving the pain. There are certainly more dangerous drugs that get sold legally, why stop at pot?

Ya, I don't what you've been told Madman, but its never been legal.

It is really easy to get. It's easier to get a joint then a beer.

As for beer being more harmful than pot, I'd question that.  Show me some evidence man, not just your biased opinion.

your kididng? you smoke a bag of grass your gonna be able to walk, hold a conversation, #### you could build a model. You drink a case of beer? have fun walking, talking, building much of anything, cause you wont be able to do either very good
