here. try this.. I'm trying to find out why the bots are stopping after a few seconds UNTIL they are fired at or fired nearby at.. boggling me!

if it doesn't work as that directory, rename the pk3 to surefall.pk3 (it has the original Surefall in it) and load up surefall4.bsp

actually it looks like I got it fixed  - I used "Force sides invisible" in Q3maptoolz and that seems to have fixed it. So if you want a beta, go for it, now I got to do item placement

I think the Waterfall is cool and the passages behind the waterfall, but could be smoother less jagged. I like the jetpack at the bottom of the pool and the exploding panel. One Thing I noticed is that the bot Bissman likes to camp on the bottom rock near the water.

George, you were using the original Surefall... pull down the ~ and do "devmap surefall4"

THAT'S the new one.

Thanks for the comments on the waterfall. I actually totally redid it a few days ago (Surefall4) .. I was ASTONISHED last night when I saw the bots doing what I've been doing for a long time - swimming UP the waterfall! Maybe it was the new powerups I put on the ledge up there or maybe it was Q3maptoolz, but I was greatly pleased!

I'm still fixing areas and clipping others off (I found a hole that needs to be patched last night) and adding powerups until I release it.. Thinking of doing a day and night version.

Like the fire trees, why does some of the trunks for the Neon trees not showup, and in the console I getting "couldn't find a image for the shader levelshots/surefall4.tga". I haven't played a game with bots since last night tho.

Cause I hadn't made them yet! =)

I deleted them back when I was trying to find what was making the map crash while trying to compile. They're back now. I've got another beta for testing, I need to add some more trees, and I'd like to include a night version but I want to find out how to make normal trees first ... or hovering lights? Not entirely sure yet.

There's a LOT of new stuff since the last update too. Let's just say there's caves aplenty.
