Well it must work differently in Oz! We went on one in the UK and it was absolute rubbish! You can't drink on the Bus, and they take you from a pub for a drive round the block for 20mins, only to arrive at a pub 10 metres across the road from the pub you were just in!! Bonkers! There really was no point to being on the bus at all!

Sorry to ruin your fantasies, but I know of those broom parties only by what I've heard from Sandy. If you'll recall, he was the first one to mention them... And he's your countryman anyway.

These pubs were accually well spread out so there was no need for the bus as for drinking on the bus that was alloud unitll we got the CBD then it is illegal even to have an open container in the car/bus or what ever

Those broome parties sound crazy
