Hi all, this is my 1st post here and it's a little bit of a technical one:

I've just started making roffs for my map (Jedi Academy SP). I've looked through the Solider Of Fortune 2 - Animating Objects.doc and it mentions:

Under the General tab, set your System Unit Scale to 1 Unit = 6.0 Inches.


I've heard from elsewhere that the scale used in SoF2 is different to JKA's. If this is the case, what should the scale be set to in 3dsMAX for JKA Roffs? I was under the impression that all Q3 engine games share the same scale.

every game can potentialy have its own scale
the best way for you to find out the scaling is by testing,
i dont know the exact mesurement differences of SOF2 and JKA

Apparently, JKA's scale is 1 unit = 8 inches. I've tested it with this and it works fine. Thanks for your advice anyway:)
