Back on topic, that's the "Celeron" part I don't like in your spec. That will sure hold you back on the frame rate. And I "guess" your video card is a PCI one, not an AGP. (Selling computer and all Celeron we sell has no graphic slot) But, I only got an Athlon XP 2500+, Radeon 9600XT 512Ram, and I run Doom 3 quite well...

yea, celeron is definately a bad.... for any gamer, well anybody realy, but that is just my opinion

I gonna buy a brand new computer! Cause my system i surfing on is 5 years old ...gosh! OMG - wht i do if q4 sux? :-)

Did'nt have the cash and my P3 was busted bad. The motherboard, ram and processor fried. But I will try to get a new PC this fall(BEFORE QUAKE 4)!

I'm still looking into options. But it all depends what hardware will be available at the end of the year. Pricing is another factor.
