and for a new game: should mix rpg with fps with direct choices like you could slice down that guy in JA (or forgive him) more than just 3 levels of force power (make it harder to become a jedi knight) lightsabers in more colors. more handles to put togheter. more body parts to put togheter and races (i like that change in JA) when we talk about colors, excellent way of having blaster become more personilized (im sure i've spelled that wrong) in mp longer storie with more replay value. here we are back at the rpg side of the game. more choices so that it won't be the same when playing again. (im sure that's a little harder to make) better graphic's and most of all (to Raven) take your time with the dev. the game . don't rush it, even though we fans are getting restless awaiting a sequel now its time for me to stop |

I will buy it when it comes out. Any official word anywhere yet? |

| Quote | | well atleast if they use Q4 engine then mappers/modders etc. Don't have to start from scratch on how to learn it unless D3 uses the same sort of programs to do this. |
Yes, that is one important thing: you should be able to make modifications, like in JKA. So I'd like the D3/Q4 engine, too. Some Ideas (I don't say that i want them to be in JK4, but they are ideas): - a bit RPG: for example, if you use push very often you get a higher level - the levels could be more interactive, for example kick chairs on enemies (better physic engine) - more weapons and force powers - some more MP gametypes and again holocron ffa - sometimes more fun stuff, eg emotes - a good story (I know this is a bit difficult) there are many things, but these are most of them (I hope so) Mr. Wonko |

| Quote | That's still the doom 3 engine.
That said, while it will look pretty, it's disappointing IMO. I think the unreal engine (look at splinter cell 3) would be good. Outdoor areas still just won't look that good on d3.

Ya...so its using the D3 engine, that doesn't mean it will not have great out door envirnments...go over to the Quake IV threads and what is been shown so far from gamespy.com, Quake IV is going to have vehicles and large outdoor envirnments as well as close in-door environments. If Raven is making or even considering to make another Jedi Knight game, I would assume they would use the D3 engine, because they are already vary familar with it. If they were not going to use it, I hope they would use the Unreal Engine 3, not the Unreal 2 engine. The D3 engine looks way better than the Unreal 2 engine ever could. I hope the "rumor" about another possible JK game is true. All the possiblities that could be done with today's tech is unbelievable!!! Everyone should go over to the Lucas Arts forums and show support for another JK game. In fact, I am off to do that now |
