Has anyone used the new version? What do you think of it? After having learned how to use the 1.4 version I gotta say the way of handling brushes and applying textures is anything but better. Is there anyway to revert to the previous scheme with this new version? I guess Ill just stick with 1.4 but what the heck is the programer thinking?

Yeah I've been hearing some negative feedback on GTK 1.5 in terms of mapping for the Q3 engine. I, personally, have made the decision to stick with 1.4 untill they resolve some of the issues that came up, because it definatly seems like your not the only one who has had a bad experience with the changes they made to it.

Many people are complaining about it. I'm not mapping anymore, but I'm hearing bad comments everywhere. I think it's always bad to change a UI and the way of working of a product that everyone is happy about.

I've always hated the way GTK handles brushes, and I hate how it doesn't display misc_model_breakables properly so I still map in good old EFRadiant and use GTK for compiling with q3map2.
