The makers of FarCry have finally released the SDK that has made the game FarCry so popular. This SDK will allow users to modify the game in so many different ways. This almost brings tears to my eyes.... I'm happy to say that I'll definitly be trying this baby out. More info below with 3 download locations Cheers Crytek and Ubisoft announce the release of the CryENGINE™ MOD SDK for Far Cry™. The CryENGINE™ MOD SDK features a set of tools comprised of exporters, plug-ins, and source code which allow users to modify their Far Cry™ experience by importing new content such as models and animations into the game. The 27 MB download includes fully-documented instructions and will provide users with their first opportunity to create "Total Conversion" mods with CryENGINE™ technology. This is great! It's only going to make FarCry even more popular, it's going to need it if it hopes to compete against sales of other hot titles this year! Well deserved and about time! I hope some beautiful stuff comes out of this!
