I'm getting a new phone sometime and want teh Nokia 3230 (when its released) smartphone. However i also saw the Samsung D500 (but was told this isn't a smartphone, just normal). NOW.. they both seem to have teh same features. mp3's, videorecording etc... so what is the difference? I'm confuzzled

I'm under the impression a "smartphone" is a cell phone that also has some PDA features (some sort of scheduling/productivity software, possibly Internet connectivity w/ a browser, maybe fancier things as well), and may be running Windows CE or another more fully featured OS (like Symbian or sometimes PalmOS), so it's app library may be expandable to some degree. Not sure what the specific difference between those 2 models is, however.
