An original series Star Trek Adventure game...

There's a preview for it when you install Starfleet Academy or Birth of the Federation I think.  Looked like an awesome game.  Got cancelled years ago.

It was a TOS game that had all the original cast voices. I'm really not sure what style of gameplay it was. I think it was an adventure game. Buty it had some cool 3d (for the time) likenesses in the cutscenes that were previewed. It was to be produced by Interplay. But they had... problems. It got canned.

EDIT: The only ST adventure game i played was Final Unity...played it like 2 days straight and beat it...thinking back now...it was kinda lame  

if Harry's found a developer that can legally use Interplay's original assets for Vulcan Fury (like for example the Deforest Kelly voice-overs that he made at the time) then this is probably the game Harry's talking about.  I'm not sure who owns Interplay's old intellectual property/game assets..
..but TBH these game assets would be actually worth a lot more today, than they were at the time they were made.  it would ba a shame not to use them.

I mean, D.C. Fontana was a script writer for the original series. she wrote more episodes than any other writer. and I think she died a few years ago (?)
and Deforest Kelley's voice can't be reproduced anymore.  
(and even if it could, to get those same 3 actors together 'today' would be very expensive; hollywood actors are making more for voiceovers now than ever before; whoever's got their hands on the material now, has got themselves a #### good value)

anyways. sounds like Harry's planning a modern version of the "ST:25th anniversary" game.
call it "ST:40th Anniversary" (for lack of a better name).  it'll be the same type of gameplay.

also sounds like he's planning a bunch of cell-phone games, similar to the old 2D 'TNG' Mac games in the 90's
(in fact one of them sounds exactly like an old Mac game I played on an office computer in 1991 --> except ported to play on a cell phone)

^^ we've all noticed the similarity between cell phones and TOS communicators..
..but I think thats a pretty weak selling point for interactive Star Trek games (IMO)

(harry should cook up a deal with master replicas AND nokia to produce some kind of working TOS-communicator-prop / voice-operated-cellphone..
..and sell THOSE on the same point. heh. I'd buy one)
