Have anyone heard anything about an upcoming Soldier of Fortune 3 or what they will call it. SOF2 is close to retirement in my opinion. THX in advance.

no official statement has been made about it yet. Everything you might have read about it on the internet so far can be classified as rumours and gossip. Keep looking out for new sof2 mods. For example Goldrush 2.0 is coming. Oh and since gamedevelopment takes about 2 years, you probably shouldn't expect sof3 sooner than 2007

OK, i thought SOF2 came out 3-4 years ago, so I thought SOF3 should be out right about now, if they were really thinking about making a SOF3.

Well i don't know anything about this, but they are planning on making it on a new engine (sof2 runs on quake 3 engine) but the engine it is 'sussposedly' going to run on isn't finished yet....so i've heard

I'm playing CS:source now since a couple of days... I dunno but the game doesn't get me as excited as SOF2 used to do. The game might be just a little too simplistic, no leaning, no actual aiming..... and I suck at it.
