I've had JEdi Academy ever since itcame out last year.  I was anticipating the chance to choose out of the many characters raven said it would have.  I was extremely disappointed to find out that you couldn't choose a wookiee, yes I know raven never said wookiees, but was even more disappointed to learn that you couldnt choose between male or female with all the species.  Also the new seige gametype only had 3 maps to choose from and the destroyer map which came out later lags the servers and my pc when only 4 players are on the server.  Also in single player I cant ckilck on things in the data pad to often or my game will cash.

I understand the rules of this forum and I am not bitching mearly explaining my plight.  I am hoping raven will release another patch because JKA is a good game it just needs to be fixed a little.  More seige maps would realy help, but also ffa maps that are creative not just circles or squares players run around in 30 seconds and get bored or have only one area of interest that players like to duel in.

I'm writing this because I heard that Raven was negelecting Jedi Academy because it was working on X-Men Legends and they wouldn;t be releasing anything for Jedi Academy again and that we are left with modders and other 3rd party software to fix the problems.  I really hope that is just a rumor.  I really like the game and hope the people at Raven Software put out another patch to help the Jedi Academy community grow and thrive like it they did for Jedi Outcast.

I know you guys are busy with projects and christmas and holidays but it has been 2 days since this post was posted and no response I feel sudden wash of sadness passs me as I write this meaning that millions of people who paid money for this game are being ignored.

LUCASARTS are the ones you need to ask for a patch...... from past experience of their patch support we won't get another one as Lucasarts would need to pay for it to be made and that is so not going to happen as the game is over a year old and they don't really care about their older games

stil a lot of ppl play it and many more are stopping playing it becouse no new patches :'(

I posted on Lucas arts forums and it seems my post is being ignored.  This is really sad because what mistakes the game has because Lucs arts or who ever rushed teh game modders are trying to fix.  But even then its not enough because modders can only do so much with the limited time they have in their lives to mod.

I don't think it counts as a bug/patch issue when the game doesn't have something you want in it.  That's what modding is for.  

I just want some official new maps or something. *Official*

I can make my own maps, but, nothing beats official data :-D
