Actually I would quite like to be a writer, but apart from questionable levels of talent I lack the discipline to sit down and put the huge amount of effort in.  I would love to get something published one day, it's a little ambition of mine.

As for Chain Gang, I've got some time off work coming up shortly so I will maybe put some work in then if I have the time.  I'll warn you now though Kev, if I do start up on it again it'll be a re-write from the start.  The beginning was pretty weak, the characters REALLY need some fleshing out and it wobbled on down the wrong path for some of the story due to me having a radical plot rethink in the middle of writing it.

Been there, done that...  One of my short story was published years ago in a book by various people... Quite the feeling...

Well what are good friends for we want to encourage you and help you find that modevation you are looking for.

Also I would be willing to wait for a re-write after all it's your story and you have so much potential and I would love to see you perfect the characters. I would also love to see it published some day and if it is I would be the first to bye it provided you let me know it was being published and there was a way to buy it online. Also I would expect you to sine it for me.
