Note that they're only selling the skin - which is just an image. Assuming that the skin is 100% original (which admittedly is unlikely) I think it actually is legal. I mean it's completely legal to sell original art. If some guy drew landscape paintings and decided to sell them as image files over the internet that's legal. I could then use that image and apply it to a JA model granted it wouldn't look like anything, bu there's nothing illegal in that process. Therefore, these guys could probably get away with this by selling the skins under the guise of original art...if the people who buy them decide to use them for JA models well that's their choice. If, however, any part of the original texture is used in the skins they create, that would certainly be illegal.
