Wow, the preview was incredible! While I really enjoyed Doom3 i'm really looking forward to a faster paced game for quake 4. From what it describes it looks like thats what it going to be. I'm dying to find out what this "new gameplay device" is going to be

http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16159 I dunno, it just looks waaay to close to Doom 3. Its all darkish, redish, and gloomy like in Doom 3. What happened to all the vibrant colors Quake 3 had? And what about the MP, will it support more than 4 or even 8 players? Not very impressed so far...

Yeah the one thing i didn't like was the return of the OD green armor and drab grey walls. I'm sure given some time they'll spruce things up.

Give the game a chance. It's still in early developpement. Not sure it even near to hit alpha stage.

i doubt it... but then again i have no idea, i jsut hope it runs better than D3 and has a better editor.:angry: @DoomEdit
