Hi, my server is kicking ppl when they try to join the server.
It seems like it's asking for an old file called wa001326.dll , even though the server IS updated with the newest version called wa001336.dll  Clients can do /pb_security 0, or they i can send them the requested file and then play with no problems.

The server is saying: "receiving from master server etc....  V1.102 |a1326 C1.078

On other servers it says: V1.102 |a1336 C1.078.

Do anyone got a clue why this is happening? I have manually updated every pb file found on DL section from Punkbuster.com, but still it wont work.

If anyone have a clue , plz gimme a hint, it would be very much appreciated.

Edit: One other question, there are supposed to be 2 different PB directories ?  One in sof2 folder, and one in osp ?

Thanks in advance

You say that you updated each file manually. Did you run the pbweb to get the updates from the web?

No, i manually downloaded the latest files from pb, and added them to their respective directories. The newest one i got there is wa001336, which def. is the newest one comparing to punkbuster.com.

I cant use pbweb, cause i only got ftp access.

That sucks. I just ran pbweb on my server. It doesn't need the updates, but you can see the list of files that it tries to download. Do you have all of the files?

PB is weird sometimes, just try /rcon pb_sv_update and /rcon pb_sv_restart a couple of times (with some time in between). That should do the trick. And you don't need a PB folder in your osp folder. in your sof2 folder only is enough.

Steell you might have wanted to mention weather or not you are running a windows server or a Linux server.

If it is a linux server then the correct directory for the working PB files is in /home/accountname/.sof2/pb
The pb folder is in a hidden sof2 directory called .sof2

If you update the files manually while the server is running you must issue a pb_sv_restart via rcon when you are done.
