has just made me a nice hot spicey chilli con carne  :trogdor:

it was hot and to finish off a couple of pints of london pride (thats beer). what a great night

Also, I demand to see a recipe.  I have no idea what constitutes chili con carne in the UK... ???

We're having homemade chili for dinner tonight as well.

Well, 'homemade' from lawry's.  I did have to smuggle the good mix and hot beans down from IL last time I went home.  We just don't have that stuff down here.

yes london pride is one of fullers i,m having some right now :)
just had the rest of the chilli for tea 1 pan does me 2 nights :D

recipe

half kilo minced beef cooked to seal it and brown it
jar of prepare domines tomato sauce
1 onion
1 tin of chopped tomatos
1 tin kidney beans (bake beans for wimps)
2 tsps of chilli powder
1 tsp of mixed italian herbs
pinch of black pepper
pinch of salt

and cook slow and stir for 45 minutes and dont forget the rice :cool:
