So today is August 24th, the big day that everything was supposed to be brought out into the open about ILB.com. In case some of you didn't know, a couple months ago when Bungie/Microsoft released the new Halo 2 trailer in all the theaters, at the end of the thing, a url for www.ilovebees.com flashes for a couple of seconds. The site was supposed to look like a regular website for some old lady's Honey store in California. This was debunked a couple of weeks later after somebody went to the store's address and found out it was an empty intersection somewhere in California. MS tried to make it look like the site was hacked by some unknown entity, by imbedding a timer in on the front page that counted down to today, August 24th.

So to make a long story short, during the course of the day, people all over the country have been running around trying to get to the GPS coordinates given out by the site. Supposedly, the GPS coordinates are for pay phones. If you are around one at the alotted time, the entity calls the booth and you have to tell it it's name, and the password, which is the name of the wav file you unlock. If two people connect and make the "Axons Hot" for each box, it unlocks a wav file on the website that is part of a story of some sort. Most of them got unlocked today, but there are still about 4 that didn't get unlocked. The story is pretty cool so far. It seems to take place in the Halo universe, and right before the Covenant attack on Earth. It will be interesting to see where Microsoft and Bungie go with this.
