since most servers have parameter g_synchronousClients set to 0 i can't record demo's (just for fun, i want to make a blooper movie =) ). So i'm looking for an external program or another way then /record to record demo's.

do the following:
First type /g_synchronousclients 1
then type /record
then type /g_synchronousclients 0
Now you can record without lag.
to stop type /stop

Or if you use scripts, add this (currently binded to 0 but you can change that of course), press 0 to start and 0 to stop.

bind 0 "vstr demo"
set demo "vstr start"
set start "g_synchronousClients 1; record; g_synchronousClients 0; set demo vstr stop"
set stop "stoprecord; set demo vstr start"

yeah that was me indeed hehe.
the first demo will be demo0000.dm_2004
next one demo0001.dm_2004 and so on
to play demo0000.dm_2004 start up sof2 and type /demo demo0000
btw the files are stored in the folder demos of the mod you were playing on, so if you record on osp the demos will be stored in sof2/osp/demos
It can be necessairy to replace the demo's to /sof2/base/mp/demos first before you can play them back
