why dont you make a mod for Doom3

If I could I would.. I don't have the modeling skills to accomplish anything, nor the time.

I agree with what Razumen said.  As to why do we want to see them do a sequel.... because the Heretic and Hexen games are some of the best Fantasy based games out there and because it would be great to see Raven do to HeXen what id Software did with Doom 3. Of course it would be nice if they even did a different title that had a fantasy theme. Maybe when they get done with Quake IV....  

Seriously getting a bit tired of all the WWII and Sci-Fi games out there and all the fantasy stuff is RTS games and those MMORPG's.... So off I go to replay Praevus and slap a few more walls together in my HeXen mapping extravaganza.

Id rather have it in 1st person as well but 3rd is cool too. As for the multiple classes, now thats something I always liked about HeXen. If they did make a HeXen III id like to see them add a few more choices. It was pretty neat when the Praevus expansion added the Demoness.

Yeah the classes were a nice addition to the Heretic line.  I just loved the atmosphere!  The bright vivid colors were a welcomed relief from the Doom tech style colors and textures.  I still remember installing Heretic and loading it up and looking at my screen going wow.. look at the colors. There were bright blues, greens, reds etc.  It wasn't really until they used the Q1 engine that the Heretic/Hexen line became a drab looking game color wise.

I love the sci-fi themes of Doom and Quake, but we need a break from the sci-fi norm and release a good fantasy FPS and the Heretic line is the only one that I think can do that. Not to mention Raven is the only ones who can do that.

I've played gothic 1 and 2 and they were good but they weren't Heretic/Hexen.

Only Raven could bring back the atmosphere of Heretic

well they dont try to be hexen or hertic, but they are gr8 games
