I guess I don't see how that response is wrong.  If you really dislike something, why continue to crap on it?

Just stop doing it and be done with it, and let those that enjoy it enjoy it.

Because those that complained, hate to see the name of "STAR TREK" mired  (Enterprise is doing a good job of it), and want to fix what is wrong with it. If that means getting rid of B&B,fine. Do that. If that will fix everything B&B have done to "STAR TREK" universe, the damage is considerable. I don't know if it can easily be done.

i would have responded just the same if somebody had said the same thing about stargate or firefly or another show.

your not seeing anything wrong with the response speaks volumes. people can complain about something but continue to watch it, they can hate something and continue to watch it. the closest analogy would be a sports fan. he hates the way his team is playing but loves the team itself. he campaigns for changes to the team but he continues to watch the games because he loves the team.

should he be told to stop watching the games?
of course not.
