These images are really nice - and some are very high detail.  Some never seen before.

Probably some BS about the flag or the shadows.

I think it was they said that the flag "couldn't possibly be waving, since there is no air on the moon"... even if there is a rod sticking out so that the flag stays upright  :O

Anyway, thanks for the link to this site!! the pictures are amazing quality!

Very cool.  Thanks for posting this.

@Speed:  Some people (idiots) claim that the flag was waving, so they couldn't have been on the moon because there's no atmosphere.  But, like Mulder said, the flag was on a rod to hold it up, and they purposely didn't extend it all the way, because they wanted a 'waving' effect.  ('least what I heard)  In any case, why would NASA be stupid enough to mess something like that up if they were faking it?

IIRC, on the Apollo 11 flight, the pole that extends vertically failed and didn't extend all the way, hence the "waving" effect.  Subsequent landings liked the look of this and did this on purpose.

Another "complaint" was that there were no stars visible.

Half-right.  I'll take it.  Thanks for the clarification.

The "No stars" is something well known and documented.
Check any shuttle mission picture and you won't see stars too.
I think it has to do something with the atmosphere making them visible.

And about waving flag, you can see 2 differents picture taken at different time, and the flags didn't move at all.

Yes the atmosphere does make the stars "twinkle" so that is why they are really not visable from space. And the flag is just BS plain and simple. I really dont like non beleivers
