godh, do you know how to spawn a ladder? or turn a certain part of a wall into a ladder...

wanna make the lower parts of mp_Shop accessible.

Its the same as ladder.
only then the ladder trigger at the spot of your thing (cable, wall, etc. etc. )

Why dont you make "Prefabs..?" its much easier that way only putting a misc_bsp on it with the way to the "Prefab"
but do you know the height of the lower. spaces of mp_shop..? for the height of the ladders.

But guys i want to make the ent system public for the server owners. is this a good idea or is it no dont do this..?

no its not. people in general are idiots they will make stupid modifications.


mp_shop will have 400 towers and bulidings on the roof. it will be custom map on every server. and very pointless. please kill me first before you explain people how to do this.


i know how to make a ladder just meant to say if i spawn a misc_bsp can i make a ladder from this

to godh ^^^

I was even thinking over if it was right to make the /addent for the people after some hard thinking in my sleep i thought that i wont make it to the public and wont add the /addent in the public mod of me.

Why dont you just try..? with the ladder_trigger..? setting on the same place of you misc_bsp.
i think this will work

btw. ryan how hvae you fixed those doors..? in the Single Player maps..?

Emplaced weapons..?

Hello there, i hvae walk thourgt all teh SP maps in MP but i show every where "stands" where a RPD or a other weapon was on is there a way to add a RPD or a M60 on those stands..?? and a trigger behind it..

Weapons are .glm models, and they aren't easy to spawn codewise, if it's even possible. Never succeeded in doing so though. JK2 sdk helps a bit to figure it all out.

in the maping programs theres a function to spawn a model that you want.
if we could import yhis function into it.
then we could load the emplaced weapon with the g_spawn.c file.
