Ah, the remote...an ingenious invention to promote more laziness among the male population. I only have three remotes, one to my TV, one to my stereo, and one to my DVD player. I could be standing right next to my TV, and I'd want to change the channel or something..."Damnit, where is my remote?! Where did I put that blasted thing?"...and I'm too lazy to press the buttons on the TV, lol. The ultimate laziness.

Well they made it worse by putting the buttons in a closed compartment on some TVs. I'll post mine later

Meh, I don't have a digicam, but: we got 1 for the TV, 1 for the VCR, 1 for my XBOX, and 1 for the cable box.... We pretty much only use the digital cable remote and the Xbox remote, but some things need to be done on the other remotes.... Bah, you should see my uncles a/v setup....anything you can hookup to a TV or stereo, he's got it, and hes got a remote for... honestly...who uses a laser disc player anymore?

No way I'm rounding up all the remotes in the house... In my room I have one for my Philips stereo, and one for that IR receiver I built awhile back to control Winamp.

my TV remote fell into a glass of beer and drowned. my VCR remote was a victim of 'toss-me-the-remote';the IR lens broke. my ATi 'remote wonder' never worked properly to begin with, due to software issues. my audio reciever remote was filed under 'W' for "Why Bother?" (never been used).. same with the CD player remote, the MSI TV remote, the AveryKey TV remote, and well, the clapper. so now I have a sony DVD remote (only because you can't operate the #### machine without it), an Xbox DVD remote (only because you can't operate the #### machine without it), and a $12 RCA 'universal remote' for changing channels on the TV. thats it.
