STGD/STGU:     What do you say to the folks who think that Star Trek gaming is dead?

Harry Lang:
I say wait a few months and they will see it is not.

STGD/STGU:   You have said that "things will get better", is there any rough timescale for when things will start to get better?

Harry Lang:
I can't give you a "timetable," I don't want to make promises we can't keep…but there should be news before year-end.

Good news...let's hope they announce some cool titles soon!

Well, I know gaming for EF1 definately isn't dead...though I hear EF2 is deserted, with tumbleweeds, dust storms...the whole deal. When an older game is more popular than a newer one, you know who the better designer company is (Raven). I sure hope Raven makes EF3.

:s10: I keep on saying EF1 is not dead but some ppl think it is(MB52) and those tumbleweeds just get thicker on EF2

I just played a little bit yesterday.  Sad to say I'm not half as good as I once was.  Guess the slower paced Call of Duty has messed my EF skills up heh.

Good to here more ST games could be on the way!

I hope its a TOS game, and nothing to do with Activision*

*(didn't interplay go broke? and didn't that free up the rights to TOS?)

---------
edit: no, they're not dead yet.

Interplay seem to be hanging on by a thread.
and they hold the rights to TOS, AFAIK, so a new TOS game wouldn't effect the activision lawsuit
(maybe a '40th anniversary game') :;):

I loved the TOS games, for some reason I just miss those pixelated graphics as compared to the nice smooth 3D ones.

:s10: It never should have been done by Ritual IMO. They didn't really lesson to the community. In the end they did it their way........and lost.
