hi my buddy and i want to play each other on multiplayer i have cable150 he has broadband 500 but when we try to meet in the same game online, we both get lists of servers that the other does not have i click the servers button on the top but it still shows completey differant lists i search for him on the search for a friend but it says hes not found he has gold edition sof2 i have standard edition someone please help !!!!!!!!!

Depending on your locations, ISP, and several other factors, it could be that you have major ping differences and cant see each other. Or, you are running different versions of the game. Make sure you are both running 1.03 Gold.

LOL, what's next? Mate1 plays SOF1 and mate2 plays SOF2, and they both wanna play on the same server?
