If sof3 plays like sof1 i would not purchase it. I personally dont care about singleplayer and the water.... I like sof because of the damage pace and gunplay not because i can swim and snorkle in water. Ragdoll would be nice thoe especially in multi.

I'm still here.

Going to argue with you again. SOF1 is a quake immitation with only one useful gun, the shotgun. It would be retarded to make it like that. The gameplay should be exactly like SOF2 but with more guns, which are more balanced.

The ONLY feature from SOF1 that I'd like to see in SOF3 is that you get extra points for covering the flag carrier.

My view: lies lies lies lies.
Your source is a forum, and that guy of the forum picked it from planetsoldier, who posted it as a 1 april fool joke years ago. Every now and then people post they think sof3 is worked on and they start dreaming about it.
Verify any news about Sof3 at reliable sites first, and then start dreaming (if there is reason for it left)

To MoNoXBoogie:

Hey man.... long time no see !  First of all, is that really you in the picture ? Second of all, its nice to see that you would still argue with me on this topic once again.  So much so, you have already convinced me that SoF1 is not quite a good example to follow for SoF3, in terms of Multiplayer.  But all I need from SoF3 is the atmosphere and SiNGLE PLAYER facilities such as the "gun rotation and cool stuff" like that.  I absolutely agree with you that it should follow the path of SoF2 in every other way, especially Multiplayer.

To Chicane:

If we keep on assuming that every notice on a SoF3 release is a hoax, then we can prepare nothing in terms of requests just in case SoF3 is really in the works.  Say what you like Chicane, but I personally think that SoF3 is definitely in the works (still in the very early stages but its there!).

Thank you.
TheTerminator.

Hey guys !

Does anybody have any idea about the Multiplayer atmosphere that this game will have ? Hope Raven will polish it up !
Oh ! and as The Terminator said...
PLEASE RAVEN... DO NOT RELEASE THE GAME BEFORE YOU TWEAKED THE SERIOUS BUGS !
Coz I don't want to play the game all jerked up and with serious problems like a game Eidos just released !

I also want to ask how the game will run on my sytem (Specs are below).

To put it simple what information do we know about this upcoming game

Thanks, Destroyer

yeah, hoax once per month, once you will be true  :D
Of course i would like to see SoF3, but when the answer from Raven people on emails is the same everytime (not working on it, but keep your fingers crossed), then what makes you really think they are working on it already? They have plenty of other projects to work on for a while.

My guess: when Quake IV has an exact release date, then we can start expecting an announcement about SoF3, but never before.

Oh and when they really announce that they started working on SoF3, there is plenty of time to request certain things, look at the Q4 part of this forum :p

Gadof Thondir = "God of Thunder"

Jesse Custer = "Jessica Star"

Sorry Terminator, but you've been had.

But nothing wrong with pontificating.  :p
