Beware religous fervor around an operating system, the right tool for every job. Personally I find FreeBSD and OpenBSD the best tool for just about every job over any flavor of Linux. To each their own

Yes there will be a Linux version, I think iD realizes the majority of game servers run on a *nix platform and want to keep the base as large as possible.

Torvalds' didn't use any Unix code in Linux sure he may have borrowed some design philosophies but Linux was created all by Torvalds using Minix as a platform.


You obviously have failed to get the point I made, Mac OS 1 - 9 were garbage, and it was a joke directed at U.S.S. Speed.

8 was garbage.
9 was average.
7 was low.
6 was great.
