Im new..I just got SOF2 Gold Edition..And I havent reall played only maybe a half an hour on single player...ANyone haveing any helpful hints? Whats a good controller set up..ANd could someone explain the whole mutliplater online thing..I've played online on other games (Cataclysm)...But whats this one like?? Thanks for the..Help anyone..=)..By the way..this game...is awesome..

delete the single player icon turn on auto d/l and play some multi

?? i like single player lol..But I will be playing Multi soon here with a couple of my friends..I gotta get some practice..

Mutliplayer is very different from single so its best to practice playing against real people (more fun as well).

The best place I've found for tips and hints (plus extra maps, etc) is SOF2 Files

The single player game is well worth playing. Don't listen to these whiners.



For controls set-up you just have to set it the way you prefer it yourself. Make sure you have all controls concentrated on one spot on your keyboard so you don't have to move your hand all the way to the other side. I myself have all keys set on the numeric pad. Everything from movement to crouch and reload.

Yeah, GO MULTIPLAYER. Single player is good for when your modem breaks or you are disconnected - TRUST ME. Go into some servers and play around. You are new, so it doesn't matter if you get owned, the only thing that matters is that I get a few free frags from you

no seriously, just have some fun. If you end up last on every game, well every game has a learning curve.. you'll get it in the end.

Well when you get around to getting deep into MP be sure to read up and try out some of the stuff here. (got to pimp my wares) ;)

WEll I gave MP a check out..And ...fun fun fun I havent played single player since..I started playing multi I think saturday for a couple hours? and i think i've gotten in atleast an hour a day of it..I played against my brother in law yesterday and i schooled him and he has had the game for a LONG time..ANyways..My name on there is I beileve Sniper87? I have the most fun playing on Team Deathmatch in the Badlands server..i tried to joing hte dog soldiers clan..cause their server was sweet and I had fun there ...But they said they needed to see me on the server more..But then I couldnt get on the server i needed a pass..But oh welp...Maybe I will play one of you guys someday?

Capture the flag is where the fun is at. Join Detroit Warfare or T6, both are really nice servers. Good ping and usually lots of people.
