Hey since Quake 4 takes a longer time to finish, why not make a patch for SOF2. Last patch was 3 january 2003 and there are still some bugs who could be fixed.

And some other things could be added.....

game production houses do not get paid for patches .. plus game production houses   have a budget and deadlines to  make  , create , produce  product ..and a set budget

SOF 2  works quite well online now

as to any patch in the works there have been no announcements  , nor word  , no any need for updated patches to that title , from the dev team , or activision

QUAKE 4  is a totally seperate project  (and a rather large one too ..trying the new engine and  all )..also ravensoft i'm sure has a few other things on the burner lik the othert games that have been released since SOF 2 ..

a patch for SOF 2 ?.. i doubt that  , as the game works , and shipped  in almost perfect working condition..plus the patches that were already released  worked flawlessy

kinda THINK RAVENSOFT IS DONE WITH sof 2 .. AND THE QUAKE 3 ENGINE IN PREPERATION FOR  USE AND   A  GREAT GAME USEING THE NEW DOOM 3 ENGINE  

thats utterly bullshit, the game still had many bugs after 1.03 patch!

We will see what the future will bring, luckily we work on the game to improve and keep the fun. Allthough support has been dissappointing thats all!

ughhh guys......they are done Quake 4 if you havent heard (raven are very quite and sneaky ) SOFII platnium will be comming out and they might charge for it. Like gold edition it came in stores and download.....so buy having this new Platnium come out with accelerated graphics new, guns maps, skins, gamestypes
raven would make money off it. So that dismisses the evil forum god lol
