Article I don't know how they expect 3.5 Ghz I assume it would be G5-like processors. They haven't come out with 2.5 GHZ G5s processors yet how will they manage that one. However it's more like a tri-core CPU, but three processors in one box would have to be a big tower.

Whoa. 3 3.5 Ghz CPU's? That thing is gonna be able to put out some sweet games.... Good to see that a HD is on that diagram (even if it says they havn't decided whether to build it in or not)

i wonder what its gonna be like to be able to run farcry halflife2 and doom3 all at once. i wonder if they are just overcloaked p4s? edit why would they use a g5 isn't that apple=mac=microsoft rival

He said G5 like. Judging from the artice, it apparently will use IBM's new POWER 64 bit processor. The G5 ws developed by IBM, too, BTW. Not Apple. It's gonna cost.

Holy s***! (They better change the RAM from 256 up to 1gb!) Well, Microsoft did say that were pushing the next X-Box to be something like the entertainment center of the future, wonder if it'll run Longhorn... (even though I swore to never buy a console again after the N64, I may have to get this...)

The next line of G5 is rumor to have 3Ghz...

And yes, we know that it's IBM that are making G5 cpu.

Apple is hardly a Microsoft competitior, it's marketshare diminishes day by day, taken over by Linux.

The PPC arch is developed by IBM, Motorola, and Apple.

Also if you notice it only has 10mb of video ram.
