i am just asking is this an official patch. on sof2 files it ses that it is. but it ses u also need 1.7b to run the multiplayer with 1.6 gold. i have downloaded both now. i try to put on the 1.6 gold patch and i get the message "missing or invalid registry/INI entry. what does this mean? can anyone help

hmm the 1.6 and 1.7b are for the orginal SoF...not SoF II which is currently at 1.3

For SoF II not likely but I still have a little hope yet...tho there really isn't much to tweak...the game is rather solid as is. I'm sure we'll see a SoF III but not likely for 2 years I would say off hand.

It is a pretty good game, but you call this solid? I really hope they could release a patch to fix this since Evenbalance is taking forever

Baboo - First of all please lose that sig...its way to dang big. Oh and yes I would call this solid..only real out standing issue I really see is the lean bug...thats it...past that its all wants and wish's...but nothing more.

so then wot would people want to see included in sof3? i want, kill cam, like cod errrrrr just a new updated sof2. maybe designed on a new engine. it could be more shiney etc, lol. sof2 is in my opinion the best FPS for all round playability. dont you find that even if you play other games u allways come back to sof2. and it is a highly underated game in my opinion. in mags it never gets the recognition it deserves.

^nologic has been picking the mushrooms from his garden again but I would say pretty solid. Almost any program has a bug, but 3 main patches from ravensoft, and the game is pretty stable and good overall.

it is pretty stable... i honestly want another patch, but i actually think that this game doesn't even really need it. since i only play osp newayz.
